Sumba's training module helps you ensure your staff is properly trained, assessed, and certified for their roles.


Overview

The training feature has three components:

  1. Training Materials — Content your staff needs to learn (videos, manuals, documents)
  2. Assessments — Tests that verify understanding (true/false, multiple choice)
  3. Certifications — Records of who passed what and when

Setting Up Training Materials

  1. Go to Training on the web portal
  2. Create a new training module
  3. Add materials:
  4. Assign the training to a location (training can be location-specific)

Creating Assessments

Assessments follow the same familiar list builder format:

  1. Within a training module, create a new assessment
  2. Add questions:
  3. Set a passing score (e.g., 80%)
  4. Publish the assessment

Staff complete assessments on the mobile app. Results are recorded automatically.
